The Queen Bee is a women's half marathon race
in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The race raises support and funds for local charities that focus on women. This design was submitted for their poster contest, voted on by participants and was selected first overall. An idea that started as a sketch, incorporating the Cincinnati skyline with custom hand-drawn type was paired with vibrant colors that spoke to their audience.
